The Master’s Degree aims to be a quality postgraduate program potentially useful for graduates in Biotechnology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Veterinary Medicine, Food Science and Technology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Environmental Sciences and Dentistry; for engineers in Chemistry, Materials, Agronomy, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering and Telecommunications. It is also intended to become a pathway for the training of professionals and doctors among the graduates of these careers. This is due to the multidisciplinary approach of Biotechnology and Bioengineering, which involve several disciplines and sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Virology, Agronomy, Engineering, Chemistry, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Toxicology, among others) The University Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and Bioengineering Research has a duration of 60 ECTS to be taught within the same academic year. The Syllabus will be structured temporally as follows: A first block of compulsory and elective subjects, which represent a total of 30 ECTS distributed in a compulsory and common module comprising 2 subjects (12 ECTS) and a specialization module with different elective subjects to be chosen by the student (18 ECTS of a total offer of 36). A second block in which the student must complete the Master’s Thesis for a total of 30 ECTS. This work will consist of a scientific research work on a topic to be chosen by the student among the options offered by the Master.
